I designed this logo for Lavastorm in 2000.  It was the last large company I worked for that had game rooms, subsidized kitchens, and tapped beer.

This logo was to invoke the strength of a mountain, the intensity of lava with the simplicity of the minimalist.  I’m proud to say that the vestiges of this mark have remained with the company well through a decade of company evolution.
